Life teaches us to always listen to experts in crucial matters because they have the experience and knowledge to back their claims. Most of us take this logic with us when we enter the world of forex. In the last few years, the forex industry has grown at such a pace that it is now one of the more popular fields amongst online and offline communities.
This has created a slew of options being available to traders in terms of everything in the market including brokers, platforms, strategies, automated systems, and, most alarmingly, experts.
Looking at the number of people who are looking for experts in the foreign exchange market, many people have taken on the guise of being an expert so as to make easy money. However, unsurprisingly, not every individual claiming to be a forex expert is truly an expert in the market.
But, how can you separate these false experts with real forex experts? The answer is that you need to learn how to identify falsehoods in their claims. Here are some things that false FX experts tend to do.
Provide Generic Information
False forex experts would always try to prove their capabilities by acting like they know a lot. However, if you can look beyond the showmanship and flamboyance, you will notice that they only provide generic information that is easily accessible on the internet. Therefore, in essence, a false forex expert does not have anything to offer to traders that they cannot themselves find out on the internet.
Try to Sell Some Service or Product
The purpose of pitches from false forex experts is always to prove to beginners that they know what they are talking about. This is why they always use ostentation to present bland and simple information.
The reason why they want to prove to you that they are experienced in the foreign exchange is that they have some product or service to sell to you. However, it is highly unlikely that if they knew so much about forex trading they would be making money off it instead of selling products and services.
You can usually tell the serious forex experts from the false ones by the fact that the latter will always try to sell you something and make profit off of you.
Make Tall Claims
Sometimes, the pitch of false forex experts can become quite expansive. However, this blends in with the logic of marketing to sell some product or service. Usually, you can easily see the claims to be false because they are so unrealistic.
For instance, if a so called expert claims that he can teach you how to turn 10, 000 American dollars into 1 million American dollars in only a few months then you know that he is not serious.
The moment you see such tall claims being made in flashing multiple colours on the false forex expert’s website, you should know that they are there to only swindle you and take your money. Such false foreign exchange experts should be avoided at all costs.
