There are a lot of people who are unsure as to whether they should be looking at forex training or a mentorship programme. While technically both of these systems are forex training they are done in completely different ways. When you look at which one you should be using you have to consider a number of points. You need to look at the experience you need and how much the forex training is going to cost. You should also look at the time horizon and commitment you have to make.
The Experience You Need
The first point you have to consider when you look at any forex training is the amount of experience that you need. There are certain types of forex training that works for new traders and certain types that don’t. When you look at the general forex training you are going to be looking at courses that are fine for new traders. This means that you are not going to need any experience in trading to use them.
This is not the case with the mentor programmes. When you look at a mentor programme you are going to need to have some experience on the market. The mentor that you get will not be there to teach you the basics of the market. They are going to be there to show you advanced strategies and how to be successful in the market. You have to already know all of the basics before you look at this.
The Cost of Forex Training
When you look at anything you have to consider what the costs are. Online training courses range in price from free to paid. The free courses generally offer you everything that you need to trade on the market. Some of the paid for online courses will go into a bit more depth, but this is not always the case. Most of the online courses are going to be free.
The mentor programmes are not going to be free. In fact, you will not be able to find a single mentor programme that is free. This is due to the mentor needing to be compensated for the time that they are spending with you showing you want you need to know. The cost of the programme will vary as there are some very cheap mentor programmes and some extremely expensive programmes. The most expensive programmes are not always the best ones.
The Time Commitment
The amount of time that you have for training and the amount of time that the training requires you to have, can be different. This is something that a lot of traders find as they are looking at training part-time. The online courses generally do not have a time commitment that you have to make. You will be able to work through the course at your own pace.
This is not the case with the mentor programmes. With these programmes you generally have to be online at certain times because this is when your mentor will be on. You are also generally given a set amount of time that you will have access to the mentor. After this time you are not going to be able to contact the mentor.
